Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week’s tease comes from When We Were Strangers by Pamela Schoenewaldt.

“And then suddenly I was on the Servia, a rocking mountain of metal and wood. Masts rose between smokestacks wide as our church. Coiled rope, winches, pipes and levers filled the deck. How could this monster float? And how could it fit us all? ”

I can’t tell you have much I’m loving this story. On March 7th Pamela Schoenewaldt will be on Blog Talk Radio with Book Club Girl. I’m sure this is going to be an interesting interview because this is such a good book. Plan on listening if you get a chance.

What will you tease us with?
