What’s better than new books? Free books! What’s better than free books? Free books in the mail! It’s like Christmas and your birthday getting free new books in the mail. It’s exciting to see what everyone else is getting so I know what books to add to my TBR and wish lists.
Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A Girl and Her Books (formerly The Printed Page). The month of July is being hosted by Gwendolyn at A Sea of Books.
Paperback Book Swap has been very, very good to me this week.
Here’s what my wonderful mailman (and UPS guy–are all UPS guys cute?),
From my wonderful friends at Paperback Book Swap:
How I Lost 10 Pounds in 53 Years by Kaye Ballard (Does anyone but my know Kaye Ballard?).
Buzz Off by Hannah Reed.
A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick.
I also received:
The Very Thought of You by Rosie Alison from Atria Books.
The Foreigners by Maxine Swann from Penguin.
So, what did you find in your mailbox last week?
Don’t forget to leave a comment here for your chance to win a copy of Vaclav & Lena by Haley Tanner.

Of course I know Kaye Ballard! I didn’t know she’d written a book though. By the way, our UPS guy is not cute, except when he’s carrying a package for me. Enjoy your new books!

You are certainly not the only one who knows Kaye Ballard 🙂
I rarely see our UPS carrier in person anymore; I always seem not to be home when he/she delivers.
Hope you enjoy The Reservoir as much as I did!

Can’t say my UPS man is that cute (or at least not that I noticed!), but he did greet me like a long-lost friend this week, which I thought was pretty funny since I didn’t recognize him! Enjoy all your new reads!

How I lost 10 Pounds in 53 Years sounds great! Looking forward to learning more about it.

In answer to your question: Any man delivering books to me is cute – at least until I get the books in my hand! But truthfully, the UPS men at both my office and home are worth watching for!
Ahem. Now, about those books . . . I’d really like to read THE FOREIGNERS myself. I want to check out the Kaye Ballard book – it sounds funny. And you will probably need funny . . . THE VERY THOUGHT OF YOU is really good, but sad; and A RELIABLE WIFE is really good, but full of people with questionable characters.
Hope you enjoy ALL your new books!
